Request Prayer

At every Divine Liturgy, Fr. Michael commemorates the names of the living and the departed during the Proskomedia—the preparation of the Holy Gifts. A small particle of bread is removed for each name and placed on the paten beside the Lamb. At the end of the Liturgy, these particles are placed into the chalice with the prayer: "Wash away, O Lord, the sins of all those commemorated here by Thy precious Blood, through the prayers of Thy saints."
This is one of the most profound ways the Church prays for her people.

If you would like a name commemorated at the Liturgy, please submit your request below. You may request prayers for the living (health, guidance, thanksgiving) or for the departed (memory eternal).

For pastoral emergencies, serious illness, or to arrange a memorial service (Trisagion), please contact Fr. Michael directly at (409) 838-4951.
