The Altar society was established in 1962 under the guidelines of its founding members. Our membership consists of some of the original ladies as well as daughters of those deceased. We have wonderful members who truly enjoy working for the church and with one another. The Altar society primarily attends to the needs of the altar providing the necessary vestments, altar scarves, as well as assisting the priest as the need arises. Secondly, we prepare all holy bread and wheat for memorials. As a major fundraiser, we bake a variety of sweets and bread to sell at the annual dinner. Our gift shop includes icons, books, and various religious items. Our ladies regularly visit the sick and shut-ins and deliver Christmas love gifts to them. We also support the Antiochian Women and several local charities with a donation each year.

We welcome new members to join us. The meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Church hall.
