On December 24, 2025, the faithful of St. Michael gathered to celebrate the Nativity of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ. The day began with the Royal Hours—the ancient prayers of the Church preparing our hearts for the great feast—and continued through Orthros and the Divine Liturgy.
This year’s celebration held special joy as we welcomed new members into the Body of Christ through the Holy Mysteries of Baptism and Chrismation. What better day to be born anew in Christ than the day we commemorate His own birth in Bethlehem? As the Church sang “Christ is born, glorify Him!”, these newest Orthodox Christians joined their voices to ours for the first time.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
