We are excited to encourage our children to take an active role in the events of Holy Week. Below are special opportunities for them to participate, learn, and serve during this sacred time.
Schedule of Events
Saturday, April 4th: Lazarus Saturday Liturgy at 9:00 AM, followed by breakfast hosted by Sunday School.
Sunday, April 5th: Palm Sunday Fish Fry following Liturgy (supports camp fund). Children attending camp, along with their parents, are required to help after Liturgy.
Friday, April 10th: Good Friday Royal Hours and Vespers at 9:00 AM. Following morning services, children will help with decorating the Bier (tomb of Christ) and assisting with church cleaning.
Saturday, April 11th: Holy Saturday Liturgy at 9:00 AM. Children will participate in the Old Testament reading of the Three Youths in the Furnace. Please let us know who will be participating in the reading so we can assign parts.
Sunday, April 12th: Pascha Agape Vespers followed by Pascha Picnic and Egg Hunt.
A Note to Families
These opportunities allow children to engage more deeply in Holy Week through worship, service, and fellowship. We encourage all families to attend and support their children’s participation.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful and beautiful time together.
